Tamisha A. Tyler (she/her), PhD, is a theologian, educator and Co-Director of Level Ground, an award-winning nonprofit artist collective and production company. Her work focuses on Theopoetics and the arts, with her most recent project centering on Octavia E. Butler, her works and legacy. With almost 10 years of experience as a coach and non-profit leader, she also currently serves as Visiting Professor of Theology and Culture, and Theopoetics at Bethany Theological Seminary. She is serious because she’s not unserious. A dynamic speaker and facilitator, she hosts workshops and discussions around diversity, co-creation of community and art. Dr. Tyler is also a published poet, podcaster, foodie, lifelong karaoke artist, and a lover of people.
